Ruba Kassem is an Associate in our Employment Law Group in Zurich. She advises domestic and foreign clients in all employment related matters and represents parties in court proceedings before all Swiss courts. Ruba brings deep expertise in employment law, with a particular focus on employment disputes. She is also experienced in out-of-court dispute resolution and negotiation of settlement agreements.

Before joining our team, Ruba served as Deputy Chief Clerk and Deputy Judge at the Zurich Labour Court, where she presided over proceedings, ruled on claims and procedural motions, and authored judgments in a variety of employment-related disputes.

  • Day-to day counseling in Swiss employment matters, including drafting and reviewing of employment agreements, internal regulations and policies, termination agreements, unilateral and collective dismissals, business transfers and assistance in M&A transactions
  • Out-of-court dispute resolution and negotiation of settlement agreements
  • Represent parties in court proceedings before all Swiss courts
