On 20 November 2018, Santhera Pharmaceuticals announced that it had entered into an agreement with Idorsia Ltd (SIX: IDIA) under which Santhera will acquire the option to exclusively in-license, by way of sublicense, the steroid vamorolone in all indications and all countries worldwide except Japan and South Korea. Vamorolone is a highly promising drug candidate for the treatment of patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
