Diversity & Inclusion

Promoting Inclusivity

Schellenberg Wittmer is committed to respecting and promoting diversity in the workplace. We actively support and encourage a working environment characterized by inclusivity. Schellenberg Wittmer offers equal opportunity to all employees, without regard to gender, social status, sexual orientation, ethnic background, national origin, or age. We welcome difference.

In our commitment to achieving greater inclusivity, we regularly implement targeted diversity initiatives with quantifiable criteria for success. We are working to increase the proportion of women in leadership positions and have introduced specialized initiatives for addressing LGBTQI+ issues.

Dedicated task groups have been formed to ensure that diversity has a strategic place in all areas of the company's practice. These task groups carry out substantive programs for the implementation of targeted measures and incentives in matters such as succession planning, retention of key talent, coaching and mentoring, and unconscious bias.

We are the leading firm in Switzerland for diversity and inclusion: we have one of the highest numbers of women in management positions, our firm is the first to promote specialized LGBTQI+ initiatives and we have diverse representation at all levels, including within the firm’s Management Committee.

Schellenberg Wittmer partners each year with multiple organizations that promote diversity and inclusion, including non-profit associations: the Women in Business Society, Frauenarbeit, Le Refuge and Regenbogen Familien.
